View full itineraryThe tour gets underway at MOSHI and proceeds towards SHIRA One Campsite, situated at a height of 3500 meters. You’ll be hiking for 18 kilometres in 3 hours.
From SHIRA One campsite, you will hike to the SHIRA Two campsite in 5 to 6 hours. The total distance covered is about 7 kilometres.
The next destination is BARRANCO campsite, 13kms away and at an elevation of 3950 meters.
You’ll be covering 6 km to reach KARANGA campsite, located at an elevation of 3900 meters.
The trek proceeds towards BARAFU campsite, which is 8 km away and at a height of 4620 meters. The time involved is 3 to 4 hours.
Uhuru peak is your next destination situated about 5895m above the sea level. The distance covered is 15km while time involved is 10 to 12 hours.

I found out about Safaris In Tanzania through my friend. We decided to have activities such as the Maasai village visit and Ngorongoro crater safari that are offered by them because of highly recommended reviews from my friend and the others. Plus they have a Japanese translator to help and assist in asking questions in Japanese. Their response and service were great. All the details of the price and our activity were cleared before starting and they worked on time so that we were not under any confusion. We had a great time thanks to them. Myself and three other friends enjoyed a safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. The guide and the chef who were with us were totally kind and gave us excellent service! The guide tried really hard to look for animals all the time and we so all the big fives which were available in our locations. Two leopards, five cheaters, and a lot and lots of lions, elephants, and buffaloes! The accommodation we stayed in was ok. We are totally satisfied with the cost we paid for this unforgettable experience.
I did a great trip together with a friend, her family, and my mother with Kilimanjaro Vikings. We visited the Tarangire National Park and the Lake Manyara National Park. Our driver was very committed and knew a lot about nature and the animals. The organizing was very easy and the contact was also very friendly.
