Aiport Pick Up And Drive To The Hotel In Moshi For Dinner And Overnight At Park View Inn

Dinner and overnight at the pvim

Drive from the hotel in town after breakfast to Machame gate – (1800m) for reservations and start climbing through the rain forest up to Machame camp – (3000m). It takes 5-6hrs with picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and Overnight at Machame camp (3000m). Distance covered is 10.75km and altitude gained is 1200m.

After breakfast continue on hiking through the heath and moorland to Shira 2 camp- (3850m) with Picnic Lunch on the way for 4-5hrs. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Distance covered is 5.3km and altitude gained is 850m.

Early in the morning after breakfast start hiking to Barranco Camp- (3940m) through Lava Tower – (4600m) for acclimatizing. It takes 6 -7hrs with picnic lunch, Dinner and overnight Barranc camp (3940m). Distance covered is 10.75km via Lava Tower and altitude gained is 750m then from Lava Tower to Barranco altitude lost is 660m.

After breakfast start climbing Barranco walls- (4250m) to Karanga Camp – (4000m). Have hot lunch, rest and walk around for Acclimatizing. It takes 3-4hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Distance covered is 4.25km and altitude gained is 60m.

Having breakfast about 8:30am continue on hiking through the heath and moorland to Barafu Camp, 4600m. It takes 3-4hrs and distance covered is 4.25km and altitude gained is 600m before you get hot lunch, rest and then early dinner and sleep for a short hours then wake up at about 11:00pm, pack the useful things for the summit, have hot drinks and snack and at midnight start hiking to the top of Africa, Uhuru Peak- (5895m). It takes about 6-7hrs and distance covered is 4.86km and altitude gained is 1295m.

It takes about 3hrs from summit to Barafu camp for breakfast and rest for few hours, eat hot lunch and then continue descending from the alpine desert, heath and moorland to the edge of the rain forest at Mweka camp- (3100m). Distance covered from Uhuru Peak to Barafu camp and to Mweka camp is 11.5km and altitude lost is 2795m.

Walk after breakfast to Mweka Gate (1800m) through the rain Forest for 3-4hrs distance covered is 9.1km and altitude lost is 1400m. Receive your award certificate if you will have made it to the top and meet the waiting vehicle and transfer back to Park view inn for hot shower, lunch and rest. End of climb.

After breakfast in the morning leave your hotel in Moshi town with picnic lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park (198km- 4hrs) and later in the evening drive to Fanaka Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Dinner and overnight at the fanakasafaricamps

Leave the Lodge in the morning after breakfast with your picnic lunch and drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area (205km, 4-5 hrs as the road is sometimes very rough). Game drive will be en route to Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. Common animals likely to see is wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions, hippos, leopard, cheetah, eland, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons and several species of birds.

Dinner and overnight at the Kati Kati Tented Camp

Early morning game drives before breakfast. You will be likely to see sun rise if it is on a clear day as it is an attraction there on the endless plains and probably spot the nocturnal animals as they are returning to their dens. After breakfast you will go to Rhino lodge for dinner and overnight, The LODGE is located on the Ngorongoro crater rim .

After breakfast in the morning descend the 600m high crater walls to the crater floor with your picnic lunch. You will explore this amazing area which supports over 25000 wild animals and majority are residents as the crater has enough pasture and water all year round, until later in the afternoon. Ascend the crater and drive back to Moshi town or to the Airport for your departure back Home . (250km, 5 hrs). End of safari. Common animals likely to see on the crater are black rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, elephants, lions, cheetah, warthogs, hippos, hyenas, buffaloes, blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons and several species of birds including the heaviest flying bird (kori bustard) and the smallest flying one (larks
